The talk ranged from knees, to newly acquired fuzz on our faces, to the stock market, to food, to the benefits of the salt water in Rorie’s pool and so much more. This from a group of people who had just walked together one or two plus loops around the cemetery. A walk that was anywhere from six to fourteen kilometers.
While some of us swam in Rorie’s pool, conversations occurred between sips of coffee. Those of us sun bathing stopped talking only to listen.
As Linda and I left, I could hear the chatter continuing. Then I got caught up – while on the sidewalk – in a fascinating conversation about the climate.
A fantastic sunnywith good company. What a treat.
Thank you Rorie and Stuart for the use of your house and pool after our walk. It was the cherry on the cake.
